Though I walk the rhythm of a Psalm
That sings the shadow of Death
Prays upon me, threatening my life
I shall not fear the bleak solitude
Of Death, winter nor any shadow
My furious pace is toward the light
No pain can force my surrender
No fear can paralyze my worth
Even when forced to walk alone
Maimed by blood-soaked battles
Wounded but never daunted
Limping, crawling through all pain
Rage, anger fuel this tattered soul
Tortured by betrayal and forsaken
Vengeance says the Lord is not mine
Each grueling step toward forward
is reckoning my enemy's collusion
Aimed to destroy my life's passion
For I hold love in my heart above all
No demon allowed to steal one beat
Or hinder any step back to that love
